Strong Subsidiary for Quality and Efficiency
Since 2007, our subsidiary Mikrotec Optika in Serbia has complemented the manufacturing expertise of Mikrop AG. With its specialized know-how in the production of micro-optical components and assemblies, it forms an important part of our international manufacturing network. The close integration of both sites combines efficient production processes with high Swiss quality standards, creating the basis for reliable and economical customer solutions.

Mikrop AG was founded in 1981 in St. Gallen. For over 40 years, the company has been developing and producing miniaturized optical systems and Micro Camera modules for demanding applications.
The headquarters of Mikrop AG is located in Wittenbach (Switzerland). Additionally, we have operated a production site in Serbia since 2007.
Since 2000, we have been part of the German INDUS Holding AG, based in Bergisch Gladbach. Furthermore, we have a subsidiary, Mikrotec Optika d.o.o., based in Kać, Serbia.
Our micro-optics are used in various high-tech sectors, including medical technology (e.g., endoscopy), micro-sensor technology, and industrial applications.
We employ around 200 people at our locations in Switzerland and Serbia.
