About us
We have been creating miniaturized optical systems of the highest standard for customers around the world since 1981. We guarantee Swiss precision and reliability to customers in the medical technology and industrial sectors. In 2000, Mikrop became a subsidiary of INDUS Holding AG, which is based in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany.
Through our many years of experience in micro-optic production, we have a broad base of expertise that we are continually expanding with technological innovations. Based in Switzerland with production facilities in Switzerland and Serbia, Mikrop is a reliable supplier. Our customers also look to us as a development partner for successful, innovative and integrated total solutions. We’re passionate about spherical lenses, lens assemblies and high-quality micro-objectives with diameters from 0.3 to 15 mm.

We founded our subsidiary Mikrotec Optika in Serbia in 2007. With more than 140 employees we have developed specific expertise in optics production, making it possible to conduct many of our production process steps in parallel at the site in Serbia. This, in turn, enables us to offer attractive pricing in line with market expectations. Of course, the exacting goods receipt and final inspections are always conducted at Mikrop AG in Switzerland, which guarantees the high Swiss quality standards that our customers expect.
